Music composer Bobo Sasi, who has made many youngsters sway to his Hip Hurray in ‘Kulir 100 °’, belongs to a family of musicians. He is the son of Murali, who along with Sabesh, is one of the well known music composers. Apart from that, Sasi is also the brother of ‘Subramaniapuram’ Jai.

Speaking about his music, this young musician says he wanted to make a career only in pop music, not film music. “But Anitha Udeep, director of ‘Kulir 100 °’offered me the role and I gave it a try. Attracted to music from a very young age, I can’t imagine life without my keyboard,” says Bobo Sashi, who has added his pet name Bobo to his actually name Sasikumar.

The composer, who is now doing a Telugu flick, ‘Thakita Thakita’, is all eager about composing music for his brother, Jai. “It’s one of my desires to see him in a movie that I compose music for. He has sung a few small tracks for him, but I will make him croon an entire song for me very soon,” says the composer.
